Apple Cream Cheese Fritters with Rice Flour
The mixture of rice flour and egg whites in the batter creates pleasantly light texture. Filled with apples and cream cheese, this is a pleasant snack or dessert. Serve with a smooth custard sauce made with rice flour.
Rice flour works well in a batter or in sweet or savory sauces as a thickening agent because it does not form lumps.
Take time to deep fry the fritters at a low temperature.
